YBB — The YISS Internship Program 2026 offers you the chance to complete a professional internship in Seoul during the summer academic term. This program is hosted by Yonsei University through the Yonsei International Summer School (YISS).
The internship connects you with partner organizations and research labs. It provides opportunities to build networks and experience Korean workplace culture.
The internship runs from June 15 to August 4, 2026, for about 7.5 weeks. Students must complete 105 working hours throughout the program.
The internship counts as an academic course within YISS. It awards 2 credits, graded as Pass/Non-Pass.
There is no additional internship fee because the course is included in tuition. No refunds are allowed once you begin working at the assigned organization.
To apply, you must be enrolled in an accredited foreign university. High school seniors and Yonsei degree students are not eligible.
You must take at least two YISS courses, including the internship course, totaling a minimum of 5 credits.
Full tuition must be paid by the early-bird deadline for application review.
The internship schedule differs from the academic schedule.
Housing beyond standard dormitory dates is not included.
Students need to arrange accommodation independently for early or extended stays
Completing the internship earns a Certificate of Completion signed by Yonsei University.
